Brooke Burke-Charvet

Brooke Burke-Charvet is a Host, Actress, Television Personality, Entrepreneur, Fashion Designer, Home Chef, and most passionately a Fitness Expert.

She is one of social media’s most authentic moms and a constant source of information regarding health and fitness, with an outreach of over 3 million followers via Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and her monthly blogs that are published on the ModernMom.com website. Forbes recognized her work by listing her as one of America’s top ten moms to follow.

Brooke wrote her first biography entitled, “The Naked Mom, A Mother’s Fearless Revelations”, which was published by Penguin.

Brooke is recognized for first winning, and then going on to Co- Host 8 seasons of the iconic, “Dancing With The Stars”. Brooke dove back into world of sitcom’s playing a recurring role as Joey Lawrence’s ex-girlfriend on the ABC Family Network’s hit sitcom, “Melissa & Joey”. Also recognized as a foodie and nutrition enthusiast, Brooke just wrapped a new digital series that she stars in for the Hallmark owned “Feeln’” network. Breaking Bread With Brooke Burke is a food-oriented lifestyle talk show with celebrity guests. Each 22-minute episode will feature Burke either at a celebrity’s home or at a favorite restaurant, where food will serve an important role on the show, either through cooking demonstrations or through guests’ sentimental recipes.

In 2007, Brooke founded and launched BabooshBaby.com, the online store for her popular post-pregnancy belly wraps, Tauts. Brooke later developed Baboosh Body, a fitness product (belly wrap) made to trim the tummy. In 2011, Brooke launched the online mommy destination, ModernMom.com, of which she remains the Co-CEO. Her trusted mommy brand is the foundation of ModernMom.com.

In 2012, Brooke brought her own personal brand of fitness workouts to men and women via her fitness DVD series with SONY HOME ENTERTAINMENT, “Transform Your Body With Brooke Burke”, “Strengthen & Condition and Tone & Tighten”, “Brooke Burke Body: Sexy Abs”, and “Brooke Burke Body: 30- Day Slimdown”.

Inspired by the reaction of the purchasers of her DVD’s, Brooke decided to take her workouts to the public. Her classes have become a passion project, and she now teaches regularly in her hometown of Malibu California non-gratis. “Being a teacher and helping women transform their lives has been one of the most rewarding efforts of my career.”

Brooke has graced the cover of every major fitness magazine proving that she is an inspiration to women. In September of 2014, she was featured on the cover of Shape magazine. The aforementioned cover was the third one on which she appeared for Shape; her 2012 cover and featured story was the largest selling one of that year. Brooke has also proudly been featured on the cover of Health (April 2013 & April 2014), Fitness, Women’s Health, Redbook, Ladies Home Journal, and many more.

In 2007, Brooke did her first Primetime Network hosting gig on CBS’s “Rock Star INXS” and then “Rock Star Super Nova” with iconic producer Mark Burnett. In 2010, she hosted, “She’s Got The Look”, while simultaneously taking on (then) her new role as co-host of “Dancing With The Stars”. She continued to co-host DWTS’ for eight consecutive seasons. Brooke also co-hosted Miss America for three consecutive years.

In May of 2014, Brooke launched her first Fitness apparel line CAELUM (Create-Active-Evolve-Live-Understand-Motivate) in all doors at Nordstrom. Marrying fitness and Fashion Caelum tries to make their line more affordable for women to dress the part while living a healthier life.

Recently, Brooke inked a deal to partner up with a major beverage company to form a new line of healthful drinks directed at the female consumer.

Brooke has been the face of the Skechers Fitness Shoe Brand for the past six years, starring in almost a dozen National commercials for them. Brooke’s partnership with Skechers will be continuing for many years to come. For the last ten years, she has also partnered with Guthy-Renker hosting two of their most successful programs, “Core Secrets” fitness videos, and currently the “Sheer Cover” cosmetic line.

Brooke has always been heavily involved in humanitarian causes. Five years ago, she became a “Smile Ambassador” for Operation Smile. Her efforts have included hosting their biggest fundraiser  in Los Angeles, appearing in PSA’s, raising funds, and traveling on medical missions in which she brought her family with her to personally experience the miracle of helping those less fortunate. Brooke has personally helped raise over $350,000 for Operation Smile, but more importantly she has helped change children’s lives forever.

Brooke beat cancer in 2013, and she continues to bring awareness and inspire people to support a variety of cancer organizations. She became the face of the American Cancer Society’s “Bucket List” campaign in 2014, and she continues to share her story through speaking engagements across the country. She sits on the board of many cancer related charities.

Brooke enjoys her blended family life in Malibu with her beloved husband David Charvet and their four beautiful children.
